May is Borderline Personality Disorder Awareness Month in the United States. That campaign was initiated 10 years ago (2018) by a unanimous vote of the U.S. House of Representatives. The bill, HR 1005, was enthusiastically supported by patients, families, clinicians, researchers, policymakers and advocates, most notably the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEA-BPD).

Our mission at BPDVideo.com is to raise awareness, reduce stigma and promote well-being to people living with BPD, families with a loved one who has BPD and mental health providers who treat people with this troublesome disorder. We do that through a multi-platform media structure that includes a five-part video series that documents the trials and triumphs of four families who struggled with BPD and ultimately overcame the chaos it brought into their lives.

Here is a clip from the series “If Only We Had Known: A Guide to Borderline Personality Disorder”.
