Today is the second day of May is Borderline Personality Disorder Awareness Month in the United States.

That important designation was initiated 10 years ago (2008) by the unanimous vote of U.S. House of Representatives. The bill that created it, HR 1005, was enthusiastically supported by the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEA-BPD). NEA-BPD has been a global leader in expanding BPD information, education, research and advocacy. Here’s one example of their work:
