That would be Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or DBT, developed by psychologist Marsha Linehan in the early 1990’s.

In fact, research has shown that DBT is the most effective treatment for the emotional regulation difficulties and related behaviors associated with Borderline Personality Disorder as well as other severe mental health conditions.
