May is Borderline Personality Disorder Awareness Month and the New York based BPD advocacy group Emotions Matter is hosting a virtual conference to contribute to that effort.

If you’re not yet familiar with Emotions Matter, they provide support programs, education and resources for individuals impacted by BPD, families and professionals. And you can attend as well – online.

Starting on Friday May 14 and continuing through Sunday, May 16, they will be hosting BPD Fest 2021: From Stigma to Strength: Understanding Borderline Personality Disorder from Diverse Perspectives.

The events will include people with lived BPD experience, prominent speakers, theater, music, art and poetry workshops as well as access to BPD educational resources, exhibits and community events.

A number of the events are free and some require a pre-paid ticket. You can learn more about the event and registration HERE
