As posed by a team of researchers from McLean Hospital, a leading Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) treatment center in Belmont, Massachusetts, the headline of this post is not a question. Rather, it is a collective statement of facts written by mental health professionals who have significant expertise in the identification and management of BPD about the range of available BPD treatments .

They describe in detail the many psychotherapeutic pathways for treating this most difficult and poorly understood mental disorder that have been developed over the past 25 years. These treatments have been shown to provide some measure of relief to millions of people world wide who have been greatly impacted by BPD, including patients, family members, friends and colleagues.
